The RideAV@7 app is jointly developed by DSTA and ST Engineering to allow passengers to better plan for their transport needs in PLAB. It provides the passenger with information such as the AV’s live location, real time service notifications and Mobility-on-Demand bookings (Work in progress) The RideAV@7 app is only operational when within PLAB premises.
Please do not share your login details with others or any unauthorised personnel once an account is created and verified. Users who are caught doing so will be reported to the base and removed from the app and banned.
At the sign-in page, click on “Forget Password” to obtain an email with the one-time password reset link.
Yes. After signing in, you can change your password under the settings tab by selecting the ‘lock’ icon.
The AV operates along designated routes in both Western and Eastern sector of PLAB.
Weekdays, Monday to Friday (excluding PH).
West sector:
0730h – 0930h (First AV departing station 3 @ 0735h)
1100h – 1300h
1530h – 1730h (Last AV departing station 1 @ 1712h)
East sector:
0800h – 1000h (First AV departing station 3 @ 0800h)
1145h – 1330h
1515h – 1630h (Last AV departing station 3 @ 1600h)
The AV can take up a maximum of 9 seated personnel.
The AVs have been tested to operate under light levels of rain. Should weather conditions exceed these conditions, the service will be temporarily suspended and will be reflected under the notification tab in the app.
No. Our Eastern and Western services operate independently. Passengers who wishes to travel from East to West (or vice versa) will need transit at station 3 and board the respective AV.
No. The AV will only pick up and alight passengers at the respective stations indicated on the map.
The service will be provided free of charge.
The AVs have undergone multiple performance tests by regulatory authorities to ensure the highest possible standards of safety. It utilises a suite of sensors to detect obstacles around it as it travels. Therefore, you may experience sudden braking at times when another vehicle overtakes the AV too abruptly. In the event of any incident, the safety operator on board is trained to take over manually and guide the AV and passengers to safety.
Not at the moment. As the AV may encounter sudden braking, all passengers are required to be seated with their seatbelts fastened to avoid potential accidents.
In view of safety, pregnant woman or guests with height below 1.35m who are unable to be safely secured using standard adult seat belts shall not be allowed to ride the AV.

Due to cellular connectivity issues, the vehicle location may stop updating in your mobile phone.
